Les français ne fêtent pas la prise de la Bastille le 14 juillet 1789 car c’était trop sanglante mais, au fait, l’année suivante à la même date, 14 juillet 1790, les parlementaires ont signé un consensus qui mettaient en valeur les droits d’égalité, fraternité et liberté. Donc ça c’est la journée de la fête de la fédération !

The French do not celebrate the take of the bastille on 14 July 1789 because it was too bloody but, by the way, the following year on the same date, 14 July 1790, parliamentarians signed a consensus Which highlighted the rights of equality, Brotherhood and freedom. So this is the day of the the federation party!
